I've currently got a 2" suspension lift on my MK and still think its too low. Going higher wouldn't be road worthy (I.e. not covered by insurance), but how many of you have actually got pulled over and fined for a lift bigger than 2 inches? I was thinking of just doing a body lift, as i've heard there are problems lifting mk suspension more than 2 inches.
Also, can anybody tell me the height of the car as stock and where to measure from. i think my springs are sagging....
Cheers,
Luke

Lifts
In Vic? you sure it's not roadworthy?
I had a 5", never got pulled over, and even with the jeep with no doors, no roof, the 5" and 35s, I once went through an RBT and they smiled and gawked but only said "Nice truck".

2008 3.0 Patrol, 3" lift, discos, 33x11 Cooper STs, snorkel, bbar, tbar, lights, barrier. FOR SALE: 04 Jeep Wrangler, 5" lift, 35x12.5 Cooper STs + more!
Any more than 2" suspension lift will equal no flex, which is bad.
On my old ute i had 2" springs (with some leafs removed), 2" body lift, and extended shackles running 37's.
The only time i got hassled was cause i had removed the mud guards off the tray this one time. No dramas aside from that.

You could also try talking to Vicroads, though your MK may rust away by the time you get through to someone helpful that can answer your question.bogged wrote:call an engineer and ask them for a legal answerSkele wrote:So can anyone verify that it is completely legal to install a body lift in victoria in terms of roadworthyness?
