Heh.... I wired my spoties myself and had problems with blowing fuses... so I took off the inline fuse out of frustration and they worked... except I got an electrical fire.... so I ripped off all the wiring and am just going to take them in to someone to wire up.

I will also be alone in the truck for the trip... everyone seems to care more about this xmas thing than having fun in the sun... :roll: :roll: :roll:

The problem is solved now Robbie... in a fit of rage I ripped out all the wiring... :x :bad-words: :x if it ain't wired it aint broken... ;)

Driving lights should be easy to wire....... what went wrong??!!!!??

One side of the relay coil goes to the back of the highbeam globe (find wire with 12v when highbeam on), the other side goes inside the cabin and via a switch to the chassis. Run a fuse (~ 20-25Amp) and heavy duty wire from the battery to one side of the relay contacts, run two seperate wires from the other side of the contacts to the lights (one wire for each light). Then run another heavy wire from each light back to the battery grounding point on the chassis behind the battery. Job done!

Yup.... I can fit a carby kit to a holley 4 barrell in under 20 mins but i can barely change a light globe....

Fair enough; best you don't touch anything electrical then apart from the ignition switch and radio! :D

Not that i know anything about electrics :oops: , but my uncle tried to wire his lights in and put the wrong sized amp in and the wiring caught on fire?
Anyway I did'nt need to say that as you all know these things :D .........................................................I am bored .

I have a set of Nightstalkers. Cost me round $170 and I haven't come across anything much brighter...have only had to replace 1 bulb in 2 years, was a 10 minute job, and that was because I welded something on the car without disconnecting the batter :D :lol:

While we are on the topic, I have this image of my feroza with 3x narva rectangular ultima's running along a bar on the top of the roof , I know it's unnecessary but for the aww factor and the light power- has anyone else done it? This is a minor priority. :roll:
