SAS = Solid Axle Swap, others refer to it as doing an SFA (Solid Front Axle). I'd love to do it to my Jeep but the cost is soooo much.dig3283 wrote:i seen lots people write bout this sas what is it? also i spoke to snake racing late last year they said they were doing one for triton and would have it done by the end of march and would be around the 4000 dollar mark.

I can't advice you on that, as the Mitsi is new to me. But I have to ask, why would you want to do it when you already have a combined 5" lift and running 35's?cms wrote:what axle would you use? could you get one to match the rear? or would both need swapping??
If it were me, I'd not do it. I'd be looking for an old rig that you can build that's already got live axles front and back.

true, but the reason is the angle of the driveshafts and wisebones,But I have to ask, why would you want to do it when you already have a combined 5" lift and running 35's?
a mate of mine who give his truck alot of stick is busting cv's all the time,
looking in to lowering the diff to help cv's but would be nice to lower the wisebones aswel
