Post by TheOtherLeft »

What's the link between Suzuki and the Rhino badge?

I think it's big over in the UK but not here.

i've been looking for the old rhino suzuki logo on a t-shirt... i reckon it'd be tops =)

The story is pretty much suzuki fund a "save the rhino" charity.

Could always ask Gwagensteve if he's got any old rhino trophy t-shirts kickin' around alien, doubt it- worth the question though.

We never used the suzuki rhino though on our shirts. The original grumpo design was modelled more on the camel trophy plaque and colours. It did evolve over the years though.

The Suzuki Rhino was used in Japan too, but outside of Japan it was most prevalent in the UK.
I don't really know why the Rhino was chosen to represent suzuki, but it was big through the 80's There might be some obscure japanese reason (Hello Kitty, anyone :?: )
