Just fitted new HD trailing arms with bushes!
A bit hard to tell when i have my head out the window, but it sounds like its from the wheel hub area.

Sounds like bearings to me. Is this rocking them inboard/outboard or rotating side to side on the axle?GUEEY wrote:Hi. got a GU Wagon!

I had a similar problem with my 04 GU. It was the brake pads moving in the brake calipers. Easy fix, just put some PBR anti rattle paste on the back of the pads and the problem was solved.

Had the same type of noise in our new 4 runner the other night. We had only had it for 2 hours and noticed the exact same noise and symptons on take off and reverse.
The problem? Loose wheel nuts on the rear.
Tightened up all the nuts and the problem dissapered.
Sound ssilly but try it. It may just be the same.
