lift to fit 37's
lift to fit 37's
ive got a gq coil cab with 4-5inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift and am getting 37's, just wondering what sort of lift you guys needed to clear 37's, am happy to cut guards if need be. have 35 inch procomp muddies atm and they clear fine
they should fit fine with that lift..
you may need some decent offset on the wheels though(cruiser rims or the like about -23 or more)
mine did rub at the back.on the chassis and ute mount(GU) and offset fixed it.
more than likely you will trim the front guard.

4''inch spring & 3''inch body lift with a small trim clear 38''s easy,
my brother had a GQ with just a 3''inch body lift & slightly trimed & it used to just scrape on lock to lock,, so i dont think you should have a problem with that lift maybe just trim the back of the front gaurd,,

1991 GQ, 7" Snake racing coils, no body lift. 37" wranglers on 10" rims fitted beaut with no scrubbing at max artic. Didn't need cutting or even front arm spacers.
Currently running them on GU ute, 4" coils + 2" body. No cutting of the front, no front arm spacers are used, Slight rub on chassis rail at rear with the coil drop outs. Needs spacers - another illegal addition.
Fit on to 6x4 box trailor with 4" body, and 3" shackle extensions. Some slight scrubbing with a load of 1.4 tonne of sand (weighbridge weighed). Slightly over loaded just a tad.

4inch spring and 2 inch body lift.
needed to cut the rear 1/4's as they rub on compression
but i also cut 2inches out of the guards
i have taken out the 2inch body lift and the 38's will still fit.
hope this helps

if u want the flare to sit on the body line the easyest way is 2 go round the edge of the with 10mm masking tape, cut it on that line with a jigsaw & make the bottoms about 25mm more,, then run 15mm masking tape on that line & fold it over to the tape line with a hammer & dolly for your flares to screw on to, with that measurment the flare sits right on the body line & looks good
