dunno about stronger. a set of chromo longs, upgraded carrier bolts, and an airlocker makes for a pretty strong setup

thats what i was suggesting to 4wdaction mag. do a comparison.
get say 7 or so brands of common rigs Cvs. then get a couple of aftermarkets.
break them and see where you end up.
for added info, buy 1 or 2 ebay cheap specials and see how they go compared to stock factory ones?

even if the makers of those ones pictured (don't know squat about them) got a set tested by a certified lab. bobby has done it for the longfields, and it really encourages transparency in the marketplace.

They come from the same company that manufactures the Longfield for Bobby. However they are not made to the same recipe. They would be of similar strength though.

I can not see 4wdaction paying the money it would cost to have a machine built capable of destruction testing of a CV nor paying for the CVs in the first place to test them.

Until someone comes up with a way of attaching these CVs to the hub we will never know how strong they really are in the real world.

still think from a marketting point of view, the breaking strain tests on bobby's sight gives the consumer confidence in spending the $$$. it's not like a hiclone where they have anecdotal data.

there are a few places that will do destruction testing for that sort of data.
