Post by GUte »

G'day all,
Could someone recommend a barrel size in the PWR intercooler for a 4.2 turbo diesel with typical exhaust, fuel and boost uprades.

We are in the process of using a 6x8 barrel. Have been told that is a good size. Got told to stay away from the 4x10, as it is too small.

Found this kit the other day.

6 x 10 is what most people do even 6x8 is too small when i looked at it... Id rather just go a front mount which are extremely efficient.

6x10 is what we use, alot of fabrication to make it fit.

Good luck with it.

Fairdinkum, over a grand for the barrel and as Andy says a fair amount of fabrication.

I'll ponder this one for a bit.

Thanks.

Speak with Paul at Denco about their barrel ICooler....

See how much they charge to fit, adn dyno it all up at the same time.

Their service is outstanding, and I've documented here before how good I found it.

Thanks Geekew.

Yeah Bogged, they're only a hop skip from here.
But was thinking of fitting something myself and heading down your neck of the woods giving Andy a visit, getting injectors done while visiting friends and family.
