G'day all,
i have just purchased three lj50's (all pretty rough!!!) for $450 and going to try and create something cool out of them.
I know the lj50 transfercases are pretty low geared but would they be enough to run 33"s off road.
One of the lj's has a 4k engine in it so I will be running that till it dies!!!!!!!
If the gearing is not low enough for some cool rockcrawling then I was going to try and put two transfercases in.
My question then is can one be bolted straight onto the rear of the other or should I run a shaft/double cardin joint between them.
Any suggestions.
cheers

Dual transfer case setup
any two things bolted together must be very straight and true, or ya get vibrations. less need to be exact if you run some sort of jointed shaft. even a single rubber uni may help, but two on a shaft is best, christover. PS, have not done this, just learned by others mistakes, etc
