Rear guard and bar chop... completed!!!
Well...after creasing the rear quarter panel during a photo shoot for 4wd action magazine last week at Landrcruiser Mountain Park in the wet, it was time to get out the grinder. Here are the progress pics..
Just chopped the guards so far. Hopefully this weekend will get the rear bar trimmed and side protection rails welded in.
Cheers

bit more progress
got the drivers side trimmed....just need to plate it add in the 50 x 50 rhs along the side and then reinforce back to chassis. I might also add in a protector for the fuel tank inlet hose.....
the other side will be fun with the pivot for the swing away for the spare wheel...
Cheers

Finally!!!
My ARB rear bar has been trimmed and the LRA spare wheel carrier has been modded to suit..
I think all up including the mod to suit the 2" body lift, I have spent about 12 hours cutting and welding on the ARB bar and spare wheel carrier.
Now...what left? reduction gears!!! Just working whether to go 49% or 30%...
Cheers
