Ie on a properly set up patrol truck with long arm lowers and adjustable uppers, lowered bump stops etc... and checked on a flex ramp to make sure nothing is hitting at full flex, including mounts and pinion angles, etc...
Boss will have a warranty but I don't know how long it will be. (The Boss of Boss is out of the country at the moment)
I will put a Suspension Stuff warranty on them for 2 years covering everything. I will be selling bump stop spacers with them for the Patrol.
I will give a money back satisfaction guarantee on the first 10 sets that I sell.

Id give them a run with these conditions, I think it would be worth the trial...
I will give you a pm when they are available. Do you know what lengths you would want? or what lift you have. I hear you have gone soft with the GU :D

I will let you know via pm CWBYUP

badger the full retail is $840 and they will cost you and the rest of you guys less because I would like comparisons to Tough Dogs and the other shock you use.

Bogged just un bolt your passenger side shock, put your high lift jack in the tow bar tongue and jack until coil becomes loose and then measure the shock length.

I sell the Tough Dogs for $990 for a set of 4 including freight and as far as I know, unless you are getting trade price I am the cheapest or equal cheapest. It will be interesting to see what others are getting them for.

Nah I don't sell lots, I sell about 20 times more Procomps for off road vehicles.
For on road up to 3" lift stuff I sell about 100 times more Lovells shocks. I reckon Lovells shocks are a sleeping giant for shocks. I suppose it doesn't help that they do no advertising.

That's the shops that deal direct with them which I don't so no $100 mark up. They would ditch me if I did deal direct because of my honest opinions. I have a couple of different suppliers in case they are watching. :D

i might like the thought of testing these shocks, as i currently run toughdogs from 06, big bore adjustables, they are good, very good improvment over stock, but not that fantastic i would say. 2 out of the 4 are leaking from the seals and they take a while to prime up on a cold morning. down travel is a bit of an issue with them aswell but still a nice shock. If my funds permit i would be very keen to try your new shocks, also have a friend keen to try your shocks on an 80 series cruiser who is currently running ridepro shocks

I will pm you when they are ready.

I am starting to get a bit of a cross section to compare them to so I should get some ride quality feedback reasonably quickly.

Cheers

I will be able to give you a good idea of how that last from being hammered.

Since I started at PGS 18 months ago I haven't seen any come back, and we have replaced most other brands with them.
I used to use Ride Pro in my Shortie and found they were good when new but became bouncy after an event, I fitted twin Ridepro on the front and was very happy.
Have friends with the EFS extreme, they seem OK in slower vehicles but have too much body roll for me personally, they have little compression and lots of rebound, probably better in the front than the rear, they squat too much up hills in the rear.
I'm using Tough Dog in the rear of my current Comp truck and after a lot of high speed testing found it took over and hour of high speed driving, jumping etc to get any sign of fade when used with my air bag rear end. The recovery time was quick and the shocks were too hot to touch. They seem to keep up well with the coilover front end. The Ralphs were too heavy in their dampning for the light rear end of the Comp Truck but work exceptionally well in a GU with fridge and drawers for example.
It is interesting to note they are made in Canada like the RAW shocks, and look extremely similar right down to the stamping and part no's, only he mounts are fitted locally, the valving rates are probably different.
Shockers need to match spring rates, vehicle speed and mass, thats why they may work for some and not others.

Cheers

I have found over the years that 95% of the time when there is a problem, you usually only hear the version of events that the complainer wants you to hear. Usually there is a perfectly good reason for failures, and it is mostly mis-use or poor fitment.
Of any manufacturer (of ANY product) we have had to deal with in regards to warranty, Tough Dog are by far the fairest, quickest and most customer focused mob we have had to deal with, often replacing well out-of-warranty items when they were under no obligation to do so.
IMHO, you can buy TD with confidence.
x2. I have fitted a lot of them and have them on my 80 (5" lift with the 6" lift shocks for that bit extra in the flex department.) I have about 80,000km on them including some fairly hard stuff and plenty of touring and commuting. If you have one with a genuine manufacturing defect they will be replaced under warranty, no problem, and if they break other than that, there is usually a good reason why, and it usually comes down to incorrect selection or installation issues.

Like ANY mechanical component, they are breakable, but they are some of the toughest, and I believe most comfortable, shocks on the market.
