Loud bang under load in low range GQ

My GQ when in 4x4 under load has a intermitent bang from the drive line and seams to loose drive for a plit second. I thought at first it may be a hub problem, i have since pulled the hubs off and there is no visible wear on any of the teeth surfaces. I have changed both front & rear diffs along with reco tailshafts the problem has followed?

I dont understand how cv's can slip, i have been leaning towards the transfer case lt could be missing a couple of teeth..

na manual hubs, has autos they are a pain in the ass.

Check the transfer case, the chain in mine was streched and would slip and make a nice noise like that. Replaced for $700

Yea ok , i checked all that out when i chenged the diff centres to 4:3s .

I had the same problem but I would loose drive to front wheels when under heavy load. second hand t-case (free) and the problem is solved.
It would appear that this is relativly common!
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)

im gona pic up a new transfer case tonight and swap it ova and see if that helps, i think it will.
