my front passanger side diff seals blew and I've pulled it all apart cleaned it repaced / and repacked all the bearings myself and put it all back together .... first time I've ever done it ...
after putting it back together I found a washer on the floor of copper/brass colour with the inside edge angled I can't remember taking it out .. can some one help me out? :( :?: :shocked!:

Could be wrong but that sounds like a Brass washer from one of the Brake line fittings. Does the Brake line on a patrol caliper have a bolt going through it instead of the line screwing directly into the caliper?

If its a large one, around 50 to 60mm in diameter and 5mm thick its the CV spacer ring. :shock: :oops:

On the CV shaft with the tapered side facing th cv bell.
Pull it apart again. :oops: :cry: :(
