Ball joint spacers D22

Post by bravo »

Got a 2005 D22 navara and was wondering if anyone had fitted ball joint spacers to lift the front end. I was only going to lift it 40mm. I was thinking a spacer would be better than winding up the torsion bars.
Any thoughts?

BJ spacers won't really work with the stock UCA's as the BJ's are pressed in the UCA's. You can get aftermarket UCA's which use the D21 BJ's and spacers can be used then. I run 2" spacers in my R20 Terrano for 2 years now and I'm happy with them.

did you have to modify anything else to fit them, like lower the mounts for the sway bar?

I run custom made sway bar mounts, stock ones are too short for 3" lift in the front.
