GQ td head gasket

hi all,
my GQ 2.8 td is over heating, big bubbles come from radiator filler when cap is off and runing, when cap is on it pressurises. Head gasket was done 5 months ago, has it blown again?? Any ideas would be great thanx blokes

was the head crack tested? :?

was the cooling system bled properly?

could be somthing simple- may be the right time to upgrade er to a 4.2. :D

mechanic did the work should have had it tested, bled it scince with funnel ( coke bottle) but keeps taking water and blowing continous big bubbles

id say take it back to the mechanic who repaired your vehicle. get them to do a head gasket leak test and go from there. they can do this quickly with what we call a teekay headcheck which detects combustion leaks by changing the colour of a special fluid within the radiator filler neck.. works a treat and give a fairly accurate indication.

Your symptoms tell of a combustion leak into the cooling system. A teekay wont work on Diesels.
