so i thought it would be a good day to do some more mods on the old girl
the next thing on the agenda was a body lift which seams to be what everyone is doing these days so why not put one in the cruizer
so first thing was to strip the cruizer to get to all the mounts
we had a little trouble with one off the mounts so out came the grinder and that was the end of that one
then it was time to work out how much i needed then make up the mounts
quality work place health and safety here as we lifted the body
and off course some of the bolts were not long enough so a little custom work and we have a new one
so some shots of the finished product
next up will be the bar work, lift the front bar and fill in the rear

If your aim was to be MacGyver you should have done the entire body lift using only a stick of chewing gum and a box of matches. Otherwise you'd have been better off buying suitable high tensile bolts, washers and nylock nuts.Cruizer_Dan wrote:nah made all new bolts with hitesile rod and welded nuts to the top
Body lift looks good though.
