3" exhaust
3" exhaust
The ole girl is having a bit of $ thrown at it this week, just had a 3" mandrel exhaust fitted yesterday...BIG difference and NICE babble out the back

1991 GQ TD42 Safari, 5spd, 4" Lift, 35" shovels, Locked & Loaded.
I once changed the stock exhaust for a 2.5 inches one and the rig was much faster but lost low end grunt. I went back to 2 inches. Will try 2.5 - 3 inches when I go turbo. Right now I'm still NA.

I've definitely noticed more grunt, less black smoke and it just opens up a lot easier. Just with the babble out the back i'm not sure whether to use it for 4wding now or reverse the lift, lower it and put on low profile tyres and fit blue and red neon lights under itMario wrote:I once changed the stock exhaust for a 2.5 inches one and the rig was much faster but lost low end grunt. No extractors Tomo_89. When the time comes for a whizzy hair dryer under the bonnet then I'll see what manifolds are in the kits available.
