I saw a picture in a magazine of a dodgy CV boot made from duct tape - lots of overlapping vertical strips, with more strips wrapped around at top and bottom. Was intended as an emergency measure, and apparently held up for hundreds of km.

If you fashion something similar you might be able to use hose clamps top and bottom to hold in place? If not, maybe cable ties?

I have gone without one of these since my body lift. It makes the cabin a little noisier so I might give these things a try too.

Coulnd't be too hard to pick up from a wrecker though eh?
