MK Indicator switch assembly stuffed.

Post by Boxhead »

What is the best solution to fix my head light problem{ high beam won't go off and have been told switch is stuffed} other than forking out $350 for a new one. Can i mount switches on dash and just use exiting assembly for indicators and wipers?

They're easy to fix. Pull it apart and you'll probably find one of the little plastic bits overheated and deformed - just heat it up a bit and push it back into shape. I've fixed mine this way a few times over the last few years.

Failing that, go to a wreckers and grab one off a bluebird or similar, same part number.
