gearbox spacers? swb?

i have a swb gq auto, i am fittign 3" spring lift and 2" body lift, will i need gearbox spacers? can i make them myself? do i space it down 3"s ? just under the mount with a longer bolt? anything else i need to do

All I did with a 4inch lift on my shorty was make spacers out of 12mm plate. Also bought longer bolts, although had to mod the crossmember due to front shaft hitting it. Thats it.

every single GQ Shorty is different. Some are fine with 4inch lift, others shake like shit with 2inch.
You will just have to wait and see..

The mount from the chassis, if you were to add a spacer between the auto and the mount then the drive line angle would be bigger not smaller

dont worry about making a spacer.

just to to a wrecker and get a crossmember from a series 2 Gq.

should be cheap as chips as they are a throwaway item.
