Im into sierras now but these look nice. i heard they came out in v8's??

biggest motor the came with was the dg 2.4 diesel but dlt fit with slight mods both the 253 and a 308 will fit have seen them on this site with a 253 go like the clappers id think

IIRC, the biggest they came out with was the 2.8l diesel. Was a nice motor for it's time. Prolly seem a little asthmatic compared to most contemporary offerings...

Sorry mate but the last of the scats came out with a 2.8 diseel same motor as the rocky, a 5 speed box and a disk brake front end, (the petrols got the gearbox and brakes but no engine upgrade)That was the F60 they were released in 1984 and were the last of the shape before rocky's and feroza's ezey to tell apart cause they have a fiberglass removable roof

Thats odd because the 5 on the end the modle code means ute and according to the daihatsu parts book a tin top F60 scat was not made :?

I did'ent mean to bag your info but according to my information your truck is not factory so I say some one sold you a cab swaped 4X4 :)

That is a F60, I've got one as well. The F65 are the traybacks.
AWD is a poor excuse for a 4WD.

i want one but bought a rocky my dad has one but would not trade for the rocky getting hard to find a f20 or alike in good nick.

biggest standard engine was te 2.8dl same as the early rockys but whit a line diesel pump instad of the rotation pump.

bumper on the withe one is mounted upside down by the way ;)

if you can find a scat dont hasitate! just dont buy a extreme rusty one

v8 is a bit over the top, or you schould change axels, brakes maybe suspension... in belgium its forbidden to modyfi your car even if you improve it. :x

bigges engine i saw was a 2.8td of the 2liter twincam of a toyota celica :twisted: but take a v8 and your car is banned from the roads over here :x
