2" suspension lift on hilux
Have recently done a 2" suspension lift on my '93 dual cab hilux, I replaced the shocks, leaf springs, bushes and greasable shackles and pins. The front drivers side is now lower then the passenger side, by 30mm (which is producing a noticable lean in the rear ) It was suggested that the torque rod maybe pulling the front down, so removed that but it made no improvement. Have heard that there is a left and right spring for the front.. is this true? I am running out of things that maybe causing this, if anyone could help with any further info/suggestions that would be great!
depends on how long you have had them in there for, mine sagged about that amount after 6months due to the battery/ fuel tank/ driver all being on the same side...
This is very common...
If you have jst installed them and they are 30mm lower then you have left and right mixed up... (should be printed on top of spring)
or the springs are defect
The reason why the drivers side comes with taller springs on the drivers side is to try to fix the problem of the sag (as i have said above)
