How much room is there between the front of the engine and the radiator in a V8 Swap in an 80 series? Eg- Holden 308 or Chev.
Basicaly is it a lot more than the stock 6cyl or very similar?

Re: 80 series V8 Question?
I have a Gen 3 in my 105, which is not an 80, however they are not that different.RUFF wrote:How much room is there between the front of the engine and the radiator in a V8 Swap in an 80 series? Eg- Holden 308 or Chev.

There is plenty of room, and Marks Adaptors have a conversion kit which allows the water pump to be fitted with a new pully which drives a viscous coupled fan. This sits quite neatly in between the engine and radiator, plenty of room.
Hope this helps.
