A good second hand idler arm....... you might find that hard to get.

try http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/ftopic154569.php
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

If you still need an idler give me a yell. New ones are available way cheaper than Toyota sells them for.

Glad it found a good home.... too rare to chuck out.

"Ripper" IIRC some time ago you mentioned ball joints and tie rod ends etc - did prices get added ?

Just to post up "Rippers" prices

Idler arms $98.45
Ball Joints $70.40
Tie Rod Ends $69.85
Pitman Arms $88.00

I can assure you that's very good value.

Need to consider any extra cost like post etc, but I'd say that was less then half what you'd pay from Toyota spares

Quick update.
I just tried to order an idler arm in for someone else and the supplier sold their last two yesterday. :x
More due to arrive in December. When they come in, if you think you need one you should probably get it sooner rather than later.
The good news is that idler bushes are available now. Not sure how easy they are to fit though, and no help if the ball end of your arm is worn out. :?
