that is a bit unfair as even a deisel with a cast manifold they can still produce more power than a standard petrol even if it had injection (example car 12 mark has cast manifold 200 +hp standard petrol what max of 120hp with modes) so i take it that it should be called deisel nissan ute comp as that is what you will have a majority of .makes it hard to have a variation of cars.
i thought production ment standard off the showroom floor with some minor modes.
just my 2cents worth but it is true hey dave.

cheers crazy eyes
If you can get 200hp at wheels out of a bolt on turbo kit on a TD42 without intercooler or major pump mods, i would like to see it. I think you will find with a bolt on kit you will look at around the 110 - 125 hp and not 200hp.

You should also understand that a TB42 is a lot quicker than a TD42.

I also think in the rules it states standard pump which also relates to fuel rate.

Cheers

My GU wagon with factory turbo and no intercooler was dyno ed at 148hp without blowing black smoke, so 200hp wouldnt be to far fetched for an interooled GU with the feul turned up.

They would blow my carby tb42 away!!!
i got nothin

Dave, what about converting the rear to disc brakes on my landcruiser, would that be frowned upon?

Dave I ran an engineer about mounting a cage and he said that I would not legal due to the position of the main hoop for the rear passenger exit been blocked. So he would not pass it if I was to fit it and my rear roll bar is 45mm 3mm wall and the factory center roll bar is 150mm wide rectangle 3mm wall. He would work out for what I would need to do use the rear and make new "A" pillar bars and mounting points would you even consider this ?
