...we are the guys with the woodgrain stuff on their lowered Feroza dashboards...
NOT REALLY so far... But: laughed a lot about this topic !!!

I was in the Winter holiday in Austria and had to use the 4H and 4L Position quite often for deep snow driving . (Yes guys, it is winter on this part of the planet right now...) When I stopped after driving some KM`s there was a hard smell from underneath the Feroza. It smelled like burning rubber, very intensive smell. Like somethng is burning up.
Can anyone tell me where it comes from, hence where I should look first ??
Before the holiday trip I changed the exhaust from end of the cat to the rear end. The old rusty silencer hung at only one rubber, the new one I hang up with 2 rubbers which should be OK from the workshop manual. I looked at these two rubbers and they both seem to be OK and are not burned.
One guy here told me the smell comes from the front axle, which runs out of grease, but I checked it, it is OK.
Any idea available ???
Thanx in advance and good luck to all Feroza owners !
