Im part way through building a suzuki lwb truggy with mq patrol diffs.I have h233 and h260 rear diffs and was wondering if the extra strength of the h260 would be needed because using this diff i lose alot of clearance under the centre.The drivetrain is a commo v6 with turbo 700 auto then into twin transfers.Id also like to know if there are any upgrades for the c200 front diff.Any ideas or suggestions would be very appreciated
STD GQ Cv's will fit but the Chromo one wont. They are a larger Dia than standard and are too big for the MQ/MK Housing Knuckles/swivel balls. gq cv's
They go straight in, i've been running them in my MQ diff for years. Just put the GQ cv on a MQ axle. Plus change the spline inside standard nissan free wheeling hub as Wicked said.
GQ Ute V8, EFS lift, Silverstones.

One way I have found that works most of the time is to stick it vertically in a heavy vice with the CV at the bottom and then to give it a hefty belt with a 4lb hammer. Anyone know a better way?mifo_2000 wrote:looks like im going gq cv's!

So if I read this thread correctly the GQ axles/CVs will fit the MQ provided you replace the conical gear which connects the axle to the free wheeling hub - the bit the Nissan parts book calls a "Clutch assembly - drive" - because the end splines on the GQ axle are different to the MQ?

it is a good mod to the front diff in an MQ, C200 is a bit small. I got some built GQ CVs in mine and also the GQ F/W hubs. Never have come close to breaking a CV and I have flogged it pretty hard. You can break anything though, just depends how you drive it.
