harmonic ballancer
dose any one know an easy way to get the ballancer off of a vn v6 motor as my pullers are too big to fit in the engine bay of the lux. i got the bolt out easy now just need to get the pulley off as it does not have any bolt holes in the front to pull off either
rad
already done that my puller hits on a body crossmember
pulley
was thinking that but it is a two peice pulley with rubber in between and i can only grab the out side
Series 1 VN doesn't require a puller. Series 2 onwards does. There are threaded holes in behind the the pulley section. You can access them through the oval holes in the front.want33s wrote:Is there holes in the pulley at all? You may be able to place some steel plates behind it with nuts and attach the puller to them.
Got a pic?
Everything I've read and the only VN I removed the balancer from, fell off. Didn't need a puller at all!
