obviously thyey aint hard core but are fairly competent on easy tracks.
I have heard that they can drop out of 4x4 after hard work on sand. Apparently the gearbox/tcase gets hot and you loose 4x4 leaving you buried in soft sand in 2wd. Let it cool for a while (about 4 beers) and you are back in action.
I think ARB do a 40mm lift, a mate of mine had his lifted just for some extra ground clearance.

They are a great little soft-roader, but due to their weight and reasonable power, they go pretty good in the medium stuff. No rock hopping though. I recently took 16 xtrails out through Newnes and we had a ball.
