Thought i would share some pictures of how i made the 1300 sump and pickup work on the 1600EFI
Used the 1300 oil pickup with the 1600 end braised on, and the 1600 mount in the stock location. Took a bit of bashing, bending and grinding to get it to clear the crank and all line up, turned out to be pretty simple.
Required a little bashing here.
Couldn't really find pics of this, so hopefully this will help someone in the future.
Cheers

1.6 pickup and sump mods
Good work,
For my baleno motor i did similar, but cut out the section in the sump. As i had to mod the sump for a sensor anyway...
Also you prob could of gotten away with just the larger 12mm? section cut and braized onto the 10mm section, Where it fits into the block with the o-ring.
Have seen others do this.

Thats what i did, and also moved one of the forward mounts. I didnt have to cut any baffles tho, had plenty of clearance, quite a bit more than expected actually.
Well i didnt actually cut out the whole baffle, Just around the sensor part..(that baleno 1.6 needs)PJ.zook wrote:BlueSuzy wrote:Good work,
