How much oil does your zuk use? (Needs help)

Post by BrentE »

Just wondering how much oil a 1.3ltr zuk uses with fine motor. Mines desperately needs re-build (has 210k on clock) and it uses around 1/4 of oil to half a tank of fuel usually.

My compression on motor is fine all cylinders around same (200), should i get full rebuild or just all gaskets seals ect.? Other factor is bearings would be disturbed once motor is apart so new ones should be put in.

My 1ltr doesn't "use" oil, it just leaks it.

are you sure you dont have a leak somewhere? check the seal around the tappet cover. if it is leaking from there, you can get a new one for about $15 bucks from repco.
