towing with my disco
Hi there, just got back from Rover and am off to Landcruiser to spectate the Tuff Tracks. I towed my hadmedown caravan and found that it really punnished the rear springs and effected handling adversely. What is my best option, heavier springs or some polly airs. I do have onboard air already installed. Obviously if i go heavier spring i will loose some of the flex, but i think the ones i have now are infact a little soft or more to the point a little short, am thinking of 3" kings. The ones i have are blue and are 2 " but have 1" coil spacers fitted. The front seems ok, little heavy duty as they are Tuff Dog, not much flex but i do have the 10,000lb warn and ARB winch bar, so need to support the weight.
