I am doing another big run of the Roctoy Rings this week, for those who are interested.
iv decided to build my own new braces out of 6mm 75x75 angle. will be similar to the original mount with alot more gussets and braces. it will be trimmed in some ares to make it more compact. will get some pics when i start to play

The reason why the cases crack with the stock mounts is because it's a two piece design and it flexes on them. Make a solid one piece mounting design and you'll have no problems.....or you could save a butload of time and effort and get a rocktoy ring or similar.
