Grand Vitara 2L Extractors (Installed with Pics)
Has anyone used these extractors?
Do they really exist?
How come I can’t find anything about them on the net, anywhere?

Good Bye Grand Vitara, Hello 100 Series.
Fitted the Extractors the other day, Bolt in my eye.
Don't get me wrong there a great product but did they just forget to finish welding them?
So after i finished welding what was forgotten I had to run them on the linisher because when I tested how flat the flange plate was with a straight edge they failed.
After all this the rest was simple, until I had to bolt the flange up under the car. It was totally the wrong size.
Apart from these little defects, there great. Noticeable power gain, and just a little more noise.

As in there ad.Ridge wrote:the best way to have that stuff fitted is to take it to an exhaust shop. would be $100 to fit it properly, align flanges and weld it all up.
when you spend $375 plus shipping and buy EXTRACTORS
(part# 14111-770EXN)
for GRAND VITARA SQ420
1998-2005 Motor J20A EFI 2.0L 4 Cyl
You would think they just fit up to a:
GRAND VITARA SQ420
1998-2005 Motor J20A EFI 2.0L 4 Cy
and not have to be modified.
Good Bye Grand Vitara, Hello 100 Series.
I wonder if they would fit my 97 wide track j20a vitara?

Well down low in the rev range it feels like it pulls a little bit more, but i'll really tell this week end when I go for a drive down stockton beach.TheOtherLeft wrote:

The flange may have been flat before the welding.
Nah, they were a bit bowed when I got them, don't get me wrong not a lot, but enough to worry about. The few people I spoke to said they will be Ok and that they would probably pull up but better be safe than sorry.
