Fitting radius arms

Post by Boggn »

Hi,
I have just bought some superior superflex arms for my GQ, I was just wondering, the pins that bolt into the chassis, how tight should they be.....i dont need a tourqe setting, just need to know whether i need to be swinging off the socket or not.
Cheers

They would need to be tight for sure, didn't you get instructions with them?
Give them a call and ask if in doubt.

Tighten the nuts as you would on a standard radius arm.
Any probs give me a call or email.

Cheers.

I put the new arms in, went in without any hassles, whilst doing up the rear chassis mount bolts, there wasnt a great deal of tension on the nut so i kept going feeling how the bushes were every few turns, eventually the nut just stopped, being at the end of the thread i assume so i hope this is ok by doing this.
