AP150 Cruise Control into 100 Series

Post by piperchau »

Hi,

Has anyone fitted a AP150 Command cruise control into a 100 series. I'm struggling to find the correct speed sense wire to connect to the cruise ????

THanks,

Mark

Problem sorted. For any other poor sod with the same problem, pin 12 (purple) on the 16 pin plug behind the drivers kick panel is the speed sensor for factory cruise installs on early 100's

$320 from Autobarn, but I think they are asking $360 now. There are a couple of ebay shops that have them.

I've used it on a couple of ling trips and had no problems with it. The guys that make the unit suggested the next model up (over $600) if I was doing loads of towing but the AP150 held its speed up some long steep hills whilst fully loaded.
