im sure one of the more knowledegable members will correct me but i dont see how new ones would be better? wind your old ones up, and if they sag just reindex the bars and wind them up againmitch_mac wrote:yeh i was going to wind them then get better torsion bars when i can afford them

To get 2" lift for NH pajero, will cost you between $800 - $1500 dollars dependant on where you go, unless you have or are going to fit a big bullbar with a winch there is no need for new torsion bars unless they are damaged, just wind them up to match the rear 2" lift.
I have the TJM XGS Kit cost me $1200 installed with heavy duty rear springs, only get the heavy duty stuff if you are going to be towing or have lots of gear in the back otherwise you are just wasting money and it will limit your rear flex...
Good luck mate, best way to get legal lift is to do 2" suspension and then either whack on 31's or if your game 33's fit nice just remember what they will do to your fuel economy......gone..... hehehehe
Have fun!
