Mate, why on earth do you need 8 inch coils?
Assasin Offroad - 3" lift and 37's
BBM rick - 4" lift and 40" XML's
A good flexy 3" lift, 1" body lift (if required) and adjustment of front radius arms is all you need and is far more engineer/DOT happy than an 8' extension which will cost billions to get it working properly and flop on the first side angle.
Look at any comp truck these days, they run the minimum lift to fit tyres so they can remain stable and go for 1/3 up travel, 2/3rd down travel.
Sorry to sound like a prick but big lifts arent necessary anymore.

A 5" lift is the most people usually go for. I usually talk people out of the 7" lift due to some extra probs you come up with.tuff_89zook wrote:awk cheers for all the insite as i said ive only just bought it and ive come from a leaf spring sierra so dont know much bout all this stuff just wondering what would be the best setup as i do mostly deep rut and rockcrawling

Im here for the sausage!
what size and type of tyres are you looking to run champ?
an 8 inch lift is massive overkill and will cost you a heap you will need to change basically every component.
if you say they have 31-32s standard. a 4inch lift will mean you can fit 8inch bigger tyres.
if you want to do rock crawling you were better off with your suzuki sierra. lighter, cheaper less to damage.
