DISCO POTATO TURBO

Post by turbogu »

Hey all, after many hours of reading im going to go with a disco pototo turbo, just had one question tho, will it bolt straight up to a factory gu turbo manifold?? cant recall reading what its flange is

thanks heaps

oh yeah any one running one of this got any comments on it?? big or small rear housing,

ill be going the smaller one just for some extra punch while towing, not looking at doing any pump mods

As far as I know the Disco Potato has a T25 flange (GT2560RS former GT2860RS) and the factory turbo is T3...... correct me if I'm wrong though.

You are correct. An adapter is available.

Just make sure the turbo clears the chassis rails when you use an adapter!

I have an aftermarket kit and the turbo sits pretty far forward compared to the factory manifold.
I had to cut a bit out of the engine mount to clear the intake of the turbo (3" intake). Just make sure you have enough space as the adapter moves the turbo approx. 1inch further out.
