it was my sister that emailed you as she lives in Scotland and couldnt find a mag, and all my friends and family are behind me, with out them i wouldnt have the rig where i want it and to have the chance to compete. NO mags = next available means and that is to BUY them. Ive still got mates giving me money saying to get votes, so ill be emailing you soon aswell. They can not be bothered emailing/getting money order etc..

Ian, it is worrying but it's not. Whilst this particular topic is seperate to TTC, it's an important matter-if you are an event organiser (no matter what event) and aware of legalities relating to the running of that event, everybody is better for it. So it is important to get that professional legal view on your event-don't assume anything and find out where you stand. On this occasion TTC management did learn the importance on aspects relating to registration and I reckon that MOST 4WD comps would be in the position that we found ourselves in.loopy31 wrote:As a Park owner this is quite worrying. I would suggest to any 4WD comp organiser to get a legal health check on aspects of the comp but the one aspect that stands out is the rego. If TEP's learning on legal aspects can benefit all comps, then that is bloody great. It will only further the comp scene as a whole.
I would give credit where it's due to the guys that pushed us on the matter.

Im my opinion......this type of advertisment is not the kind that will in the big picture move this sport - OUR SPORT forward .......I dont FEEL its what TEP may want to have being displayed nor there sponsors etc etc

You still don't seem to get it - the only reason i got this legal advice from my mates (solicitors), was purely for the benefits for all - drivers, navi's, officials etc - i passed it on & the officials went to there own solicitor for there own advice and came up with there own decision - A GOOD ONEDIRTY ROCK STAR wrote:perhaps...
