Problem: Front Passenger window switch does not wind window down. It does up no worries, but not down.
Complication: If Driver's side switch is used to wind window UP, and Pass window sw is pressed DOWN, then window stops, as you'd expect for a fully functional switch.
I have not yet pulled the door apart and test-lighted /Multimetered the switch.
Any ideas what might the problem, and why it acts like that?

I rebuilt the drivers door sw on my NF Pajero a while back using relays etc (could afford theMM original). The wiring may be simalar
Basically ground is supplied from the drivers switch up - passenger sw up - window motor - passenger sw down to drivers sw down to ground.
All the switchs are make and brake contacts, ie ground is always connected though the switch until it is activated.
When a switch is activated it connects to volts
i.e passenger sw up is activated (connected to 12 volts) - window motor - passenger sw down to drivers sw down - ground
