PROCOMP -> What more can I say?
Bitsamissin wrote:No not yet............
It's called the ProComp Pajero Challenge this year as they are the major sponsor.
4wd Monthly is doing an article on it and Michael Ellem will be there for the pics.
Frank, did you enter in modified class?

Looking at the regs on the website,
http://www.pajeroclub.com.au/challenge/
"Compulsory items: Must have all of the following.
The entrants must have previous competition experience, such as Pajero Challenge, Outback Challenge, Vic Winch, etc"
How do you get started in comps if you need previous experience?

Hey Joe, watched the OBC 2003 DVD last night very well done and a great event they put on with 12 international entries.
The rock ledge was a beauty, luved that Pommy thing winching up backwards he should have got bonus points for that.
And that Manny dude swanning around in a dress what a classic Wonder what those Asian dudes made of him
Hobbsy's driving over the dunes in the GU looked awesome.

Yea great event to compete in, definately an experience l will remember for a long time. There were some awsome rigs competing and a lot of experienced drivers and navigators at hand, definately the type of comp you have to do a few times to be competitive in. The sand dunes were a ball and there were quite a few stages which involved them.
My favourite stage would have been brumbies run, I like my nav stuff and we had a good result in that stage finishing in eighth place, and also shifting sands where there was a DNF time of 30 minute we got back in in 30min and 9 seconds and missed out on what would have been 2nd place
Pajero Challenge!!! bring it ON !!!!!!! cant wait.
Joe.
