Post by Bingham »

cant find the info i need so any liks to old posts please..

all previous work been patrols and just helped cousin by this little machine.

Lifting wise the same as say vitara should i look up such?

They make coil spacers for these things?
Body lift as easy as patrol say?
or best to save up for new springs? on a budget so top 2 preferable but if no good will just have to save.

a jimny is similar to a coil sprung sierra
2inch springs and a body lift to fit 30"
to get 31"s i think its requires cutting/ bashing the guards abit to fit .. you will need gears too

as for a body lift ... i dont know if you need "special" bolts for jimny's like the sierria's

Best combo for lift, flex and comfort is a 50mm Old man Emu spring lift and a 2in bodylift kit... Just Cruizin has these - PM him. They are easy to fit.

This will allow you to get 235s with no cutting and heaps of tuck, 30s with a little rubbing and very minor trimming without any rubbing.

Left - standard Jimny
Right - 2in OME plus 2in body lift on 235s

dont want to get to carried away, just want 50mm ish lidt not 100. So shall look into costings and whats involved in terms of specifics. See if could get 30-40 mm spacers they might even do the trick for what we need and be a cheap easy option?

Have spacers to suit Jimny form 10mm to 50mm.
Or try Tim at outdoorauto.

He he... yeah, we've kinda got a 'Zook Farm' going... and this shot doesn't include the Vit that lives here either ;)
