Ey guys just wanted to know if anyone has mounted a second alt on there mq? and information about how to set up a second one like the belts and shit?

got one on my SD33T no drmas. Basically ontop of rocker cover and will run oin the air con belt.
Has a 2inch body lift though, dunno if it helped.
Took about 2 hrs to make. welded to aircon bracket and bolted to power steer pump bracket. Alt is fixed and uses orig idler pulley for tension.
Very happy with it.

Grab an alternator of choice and dunk it on top of rocker cover and rougly line the pulley up with the belt. What im trying to say is yes one fits there and its easy once you get it lined up. Cut/weld/cut/ weld ..Done
