80 front brakelines

Post by DIRTY ROCK STAR »

Ok, i went for a test run and some photos on saturday and i appear to have torn/over stretched a front flexy brakeline at the brake end of the diff (the 20cm rubber jobs).
Anyone know if any local places do a replacement thats abit longer or stronger?
or do i have to ring my local ENZED bloke and try to get a cashy?
has anyone had this happen before? im not too sure if its due to getting too much steering lock? my truck has a piss poor turning circle so i wouldnt have thought so. but it appears to pull tight when turning full lock.

any help appreciated.

for the record its not the flexy ling from chassis to diff i already have BBM extended ones there.

Just take it off and take it to a brake joint place, repco, bursons etc and find something off the shelf that matches and is a bit longer, or make them up using the steel 'bundy' tube.

Failing that, you should be able to get custom braided made up, but your looking at $80+ per line
Cheers,
Dan.

If the rears are longer you could use a set of them.

if your short on time, and cant find an alternative straight away, just replace with stock std one. sort something else out later. whats the odds on tearing another one??
