Ok, so I really like the look of the newer pajeros (NP, NS, NT) but I HATE that they're totally independant suspension. SO, what I want to know is, has anyone done, or looked into SAS conversions on these pajeros? Would it be hard? Am i being stupid? It would just be pretty sweet to see something other than a Patrol or LC for a change.

Yes I believe you could SAS the front & rear.
Even though it's a unitary construction you still have the main chassis rails that the body is attached to directly.
You could still use these chassis rails as the mounting points for the radius arms, spring perches etc.
The biggest issue would be the steering IMHO and getting the geometry right.
I've seen a Jeep Cherokee (unitary construction) have a front SAS done (the rear was already solid axle) - worked quite well but again the steering was the biggest drama. That project cost the owner $40K but it was whiz bang and really a show truck rather than a track monster.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"

I'd rather you didn't - I've considered it too, and I really don't want to know "why"... :P
