Sounds good. We have people coming from at least 1000km either side of us here. Teams from Brissy, Cairns, Townsville, Rocky, Gladstone, Sunshine Coast etc etc.

I'm over welmed at the support my "little local comp" has got.

The disapointing thing so far is that 4WD Action Mag is no longer coming up to cover the event, but are still going to run a spot for us in up coming issues.

Does anyone know what facilities are available dunny/shower at the comp camp? The Mrs is 8 months preggo and need to know what to take to make it comfortable for her.

hay derbz . that makes two of us . no matter what we take they will still be uncomfortable . been tellin my misses for the last coupla weeks that she better not drop 4 weeks early . im throughing in all the luxeries i can for her . takin me own shitter and shower .

I was coming up from Brisbane but due to my ride not being ready in time I can no longer compete.. I was having the truck prepared in Mackey and flying up but my sponsor has ran out of time...

i havent ever been to where the comp is being held, would a get a semi and trailer in there easy enough or should i take the little isuzu

I am now having Wed off, Can I get the trailer Wed morning or Tue night?

tufenuf, you will be able to get the semi & trailer into the comp site, but not the camping area. I can organize a parking spot for the truck on site as well if you want, but you won't be able to camp with it.

22R, while the comp is running, only competitors, catering & SES vehicles will be allowed on site, but if you find over the weekend, we may be able to work something out for Monday. But I stand by my earlier comments, "I will be going home with all 5 sets of lights".

na all good bear . most expensive bit will be the biggest kick ass winch and rope you can find me . lol .
old mate patchin up the water tank . and brake lines $3.50 per M. compressor all good .

yeh trailer good to go when you ready just let me know . ill give you a bell tomorrow . mite get you to drop around another roll of plasma if you got some there .

Hey All.

Just a quick note to let you all know that OFFROAD CARTEL clothing are showing up to the Mackay Comp and we will have all the gear ready for sale.

Caps, Stub Coolers and the latest in 4B shirts all on sale at our stall...

Also the latest DVDs from American Offroad Racing if that gets you going! (Seeing Desert Trucks jump 70ft gets me excited!)

Anyway keep an eye out for the stand and come say hello...
And bring some cash so you can look cooler than your mates!
