quick dawn former question!
is the former listed as "40mm elliptical profile" the one that works nice for 32NB (42.2mm OD) material?
Not sure if this answers you Q or not ... dosen't really say what size was used ...

yeah, the problem is that they don't list them in nominal bore sizes. I rang dawn and waited on hold forever, I'll try again soon.
Mine has 32NB stamped on it.

I wish they would list them as such, instead of just 25mm, 40mm, 50mm, etc.
And I wish they would answer the phone!

40 = 53mm internal width; and bends
50 = 63mm internal width; and bends
yeah, I have those dies as well, about as handy as a penis on a prostitute, most of them!
bender formers
Enerpac make an aluminium former for N.B pipe, they are good to use and lighter than the Dawn cast iron items.
Check them out gives you another option.

N*A*M the enerpac aluminium formers are very good they support the pipe and hold there shape. Down side is they are in the $ 200- 250 price range. Up side very light to work with. A mate uses one for car cages and has no problems.

WWW.Blackwoods.com.au have a branch at Fyshwick and sell Dwn and Enerpac
