Hey guys,
I have a 1886 fj 62 toyota landcruiser.
I cut the sills out to put in rock sliders and have been told i need to get an engineers certificate before i can get a blue slip.
Does anyone know of where i can get one, cheap, someone rather leniant, or is this wrong an i dont need one?
Any help much appreciated
Cheers Matt

Section 1 of LH (NCOP6) states what has to & doesnt have to be certified.
What sort of mod did you do? Have a good read as you might not have to have it engineered, especially because it has a chassis & the sills on a 40 are really not overly strong/structural.

Look for VSI's.

That doesn't make them non-structural. The box section stiffens the side of the car.
I dont think NCOP is current in NSW unless specifically referred to. Check the RTA website for guidelines.

Maybe also try a different blue slipper. Yeah, they may record the numbers etc, but I'd bet they never catch up with you about it.
