is it a 2h with an aftermarket turbo kit or a 12h-t?

if its a 2h with a kit i would think it may be getting close to running out of legs if it hasnt been rebuilt. and maybe a little overpriced unless its in excelent nick and got a few extra goodies.

12h-t should have plenty left in it providing its been serviced well.
on the money if its a legit clean car.
chek the color of auto fluid make sure its a nice bright red, coolants etc etc
you can get 60's for less and alot of people will tell you 1500-2500 but finding a tidy one is getting harder and harder.

rust in the floor near the firewall is a common spot.

LOL

Depends how long the turbo has been on for!

If it doesn't have rust in the roof and the engine checks out ok, it sounds reasonably priced.

I just paid $5500 for a very tidy 2H 60 series with 200K on it, 2 owner vehicle with no rust.......it was worth it to me for a low milage solid old truck that should provide a good few years of reliable service.

Maybe I paid too much, but I looked at some serious shit boxes in the $1500 - 3000 category

There are always Bargains to be found, but like most things it depends what its worth to you, and what you can live with paying. ;)

2H is an easy pleaser especially when turboed and auto and no rust.

ditto Dennys' call.

They are bloody good trucks without cancer(rust).
Maybe get a compression check if you can for the kays.
This wil help with the truth about its service life.

Picked up an Turboed 2H with 350 000 on it, a few goodies, no rust but shocking paint for a tad over 4k.

Pretty happy with it so far, boosts from around 1500 and has plenty of go. Doesn't blow much smoke either.
60 + Turbo, 33"s
